Just like any other catholic cultures, Rimini observes with utmost precision the celebration of the so-called Carnevale. The Carnival does not have a fixed date, given the moment when it is celebrated depends on Easter. However, as s rule, the Carnival tops the bill of popular events somewhere in late February, before the beginning of Lent. Rimini does not necessarily excel in spectacular manifestation, yet locals (authorities included) strive to make the best of their resources in order to get ready for partying and enjoying to the full the Carnival. The parades count as the most eye-catching manifestations. The array of manifestations is enveloped in the inviting flavors emanating from the countless food and sweet stalls.
